Matt Katsis - preview shoot
So this is the photo shoot with Matt - of course the polaroids will be digitally filled in with the next scene, and the shots wont be all in a row, but this is just to give you an idea of how it looks. These scenes will be cut up to fit into 4mins of film - so it will be balanced out

This music video required a solo shoot, this is because in the girl in the song needs time to find herself and just be free until she's ready - I wanted it to be fun and scattered at various locations, just whatever happens + polaroids

Couple photoshoot - various locations, approx 1000 shots
This shoot was all about the couple + composition, visual aesthetic - the couple: Olivia and Cameron, played a major part in the look and feel of the whole concept - overall I think they performed well and they personally enjoyed shooting it. As painstaking as stop motion animation is, the end result is worth it.

What the song means to me
My Idea of what ‘Up to you’ means >
- The girl is lost, and he wants her to find her way
- Back to her old self – he’s always liked her
- She’s been questioning what she wants
- She had goals and dreams
- He wants to help her make it happen and time is all they need.
- He wants her to take a leap, make a fresh start with him – its up to her
So this is my interpretation of what the song means, and i showed Matt Katsis and he said:
"So yeh youv got the meaning in a nutshell - I can see that this person has the potential to do more with their life/ambitions etc. The ambition was there in the past but it has faded away. I'm offering to help them to realize the dreams and hopes and that we can do it together"
